National Team Oct 1st updates/progress

October 1st.
Website - a tweak of the website is underway thanks to Katia to focus in on regional actions on Oct 24th.
T-shirts - are selling like hot-cakes (mmm hot cakes or as we might say Pancakes). 130 new fresh blue and green shirts arriving tomorrow!
Pacific - our thoughts are with our friends and their whanau in Samoa and American Samoa who have been affected by the Tsunami. Otherwise we've made plenty of contacts and are successfully getting events registered in nations across the Pacific - ie - The Pacific Conference of Churches in Fiji is holding a tolling and gonging session to mark Oct 24th, and a day of music in the Cook Islands.
Regionally across NZ - lots of conversations are happening with everyone who has registered an event in NZ- over 60 events! I's going to be amazing!
Media - wicked things happening all over the show. Lots of commercial radio uptake, especially with the Logan Brown story, as well as local newspapers covering local actions. Aaron has been doing interviews on Radioactive in Wgtn, promoting 350 stuff. Cuisine website is running a story on the frontpage of their website. Further support from many media and organisations in the pipeline!
Political - building up toward an Oct 20th political event involving all political parties. And have arranged a meeting with Ministers Nick Smith and Tim Groser for presenting images etc. after Oct 24th.
Schools - some awesome actions being planned in schools around the country. Totally inspiring!
